When God seems beyond reach
"When God seems beyond reach" Have you ever been disappointed with the answered prayer or perhaps no answer at all? I have wrestled time and again with my prayer life; wondering if I'm not doing enough, wondering if God hears my pleas for help. Just as I'm beginning to accept the answer I was not expecting, the phone rings; more bad news. Sometimes I'm at such a standstill in my prayer life and moving forward become such an effort but then I remember this scripture. Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’ So I push on knowing that whatever the answer is He is perfecting great things.
